Planting at the farm...and more planting at home!

Today was another beautiful day on the farm! It feels like summer already. We finished the first planting outside in the field of peppers, tomatoes, and basil. So beautiful.

I came home and worked some compost into my garden and did some more digging. Vanessa came over and helped me transplant sunflowers, cosmos, tomatoes, eggplant, squash, onions, kale, and my lone strawberry. I also seeded parsnips, peas and beans. I'm not really sure about the timing of all the planting. I think it might be a bit early for some of the hot weather stuff, and it might be late for the peas, but I'll have to wait and see how this turns out. Maybe I should have done a little more planning...
