The first greenhouse tomatoes are already setting fruit! I cannot believe how fast these tomatoes are growing. In just one week, I think the tomatoes doubled in size! Adam and I are betting on which week the tomatoes will be ready...we really have no idea and we could probably look it up, but this is more fun. The loser must bring Ye Olde Donuts to the farm!
We've been busy suckering and tying up the tomatoes (to give them support). By suckering, it means to prune by removing all the side shoots. This allows the plant to put more of it's energy into the main stems, producing larger, sweeter fruits!
